ABOUT US
It is with gratitude that Ethical Boho is able to bring to the world a passion for handcrafted products. Textiles made with care and love not only add unique value to our lives but also benefit the lives of disadvantaged tribes. As the CEO of Ethical Boho I’m well-traveled and have veered away from the tourist routes towards the unbeaten paths. In doing so I have been privileged to meet tribal cultures from around the world, be they the Masai, the Mhong, the Maori and many more. I have always had a close connection and appreciation for beautiful handmade textiles having grown up in a Northern Thailand village. I well recall my mother and other women making traditional costumes to hold on to our cultural relevance. I love to give back to communities that struggle to maintain their rich cultures. Together we can make a difference in order for these communities to sustain a living from it, so hence the creation of an ethical, handmade, textiles business. In my most recent travels to Peru I have sourced stunning handmade textiles coloured from 100% natural dyes, with none of the artificial chemicals impregnating the fibres, so commonly found in today’s fabrics. Please take a browse at these exciting new items and reach out to support a more loving world.
Mission
To support indigenous tribes from around the world and showcase their incredible handcrafted products, thus enabling them to reap the benefits of their labour.
Vision
Currently Ethical Boho offers home decor products, however in the future we would like to expand the business to encompass a unique fashion line. The incorporation of tribal textiles into high end fashion is set to forecast exciting times ahead.
There is a lot to be said to going back to basics. Bringing together the ‘haves’ with the ‘have nots.’ makes for a friendlier harmonious world.
